Your agreement with DDStepUp

These terms govern your use of the DDStepUp website, accounts, diagnostics, workouts, explanations, and related services. By using the service, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be able to form a binding agreement where you live. If you are under the age of legal majority, a parent or guardian must review and agree to these terms where required.

02

What DDStepUp provides

DDStepUp provides educational practice for LSAT Logical Reasoning. The current experience uses reviewed original questions to identify a possible starting point, offer focused practice, explain reasoning, and check transfer on a new question.

Results are educational signals based on the questions completed. They are not an official LSAT score, score prediction, admissions advice, tutoring guarantee, or promise of improvement.

AI may assist authorized administrators with internal drafting, but AI-assisted drafts are not automatically published. Only reviewed, published, original questions are eligible for learner delivery. See the Product Standards for the content controls and service boundaries.

DDStepUp is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Law School Admission Council. LSAT is a registered trademark of the Law School Admission Council, which does not review or approve DDStepUp’s service or content.

03

Accounts and sign-in

You may browse public material without an account. A formal saved diagnostic or workout requires an available sign-in method. Provide accurate account information, protect access to your email and social accounts, and notify us if you believe your account is compromised.

When social sign-in is enabled, Supabase may automatically link an identity that returns the same verified email. A different or unavailable email may create a separate DDStepUp account and learning history. You are responsible for choosing the intended sign-in identity.

One person should not use multiple accounts to evade limits, content rules, suspensions, or controls intended to protect question integrity.

You may permanently delete your account from the signed-in Account page. Deletion removes your sign-in and saved learner history; shared question-production records may remain only after the account identifier is anonymized, as described in the Privacy Policy.

04

Subscriptions, trials, and billing

DDStepUp intends to offer recurring DDStepUp Pro subscriptions through Paddle, subject to Paddle confirming product eligibility and approving the account. If activated, Paddle will act as the merchant of record for those transactions. Paid checkout is not live yet. Before any provider launches, checkout will show the amount due, recurring price, billing interval, taxes, first payment date, and renewal terms.

Eligible new learners may receive one three-day free trial beginning when an eligible DDStepUp account is created. No payment method is required to start the trial. The trial does not create a paid subscription, does not authorize a future charge, does not need to be canceled, and will not automatically convert into a paid subscription. After the trial, a learner who wants continued access to subscription-only features must actively select and purchase a plan. A payment method will be requested at that time.

The planned options are USD 6.99 monthly, USD 18.99 every three months, and USD 60 annually. All options provide the same Pro entitlement; only the billing interval changes. Applicable taxes and localized totals will be shown by the activated payment provider according to the buyer's location.

If Paddle is activated, customers will be able to manage or cancel through the Paddle Customer Portal. The final provider-specific cancellation route will be published before checkout launches. Cancellation prevents future renewal charges and ordinarily takes effect at the end of the current billing period, subject to applicable law. See the Pricing page and Refund Policy.

When a free trial ends without becoming a paid subscription, or when paid access ends, subscription-only features will stop. DDStepUp may continue to offer some features without charge, but free access is not guaranteed, is not part of a paid subscription, and may change, expand, be limited, or end as the product develops.

If paid subscriptions launch, DDStepUp may retain a former trial or subscription account and its learning data for at least 90 days after trial or paid access ends. After that period, an inactive account and its associated learning data may be deactivated, deleted, or anonymized without a separate email or other individual notice. Deleted data may not be recoverable. Users may initiate permanent account deletion through the available account controls at any time. The Privacy Policy explains retention exceptions.

05

Acceptable use

You may use DDStepUp for personal, lawful learning. You may not:

  • Interfere with the service, bypass access controls, probe for vulnerabilities, or misuse credentials.
  • Use automated tools to scrape, bulk-download, reproduce, or reconstruct the question catalog.
  • Copy, sell, publish, or distribute DDStepUp questions, explanations, software, or protected materials without permission.
  • Submit malware, unlawful material, or content that violates another person’s intellectual-property or privacy rights.
  • Misrepresent DDStepUp results as an official LSAT score or endorsement.
  • Use the service to harm, harass, deceive, or violate applicable law.
06

Content and intellectual property

DDStepUp and its licensors retain rights in the service, software, visual system, original questions, explanations, taxonomy, and other content. Subject to these terms, DDStepUp gives you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service for learning.

You retain rights in content you are authorized to submit. You grant DDStepUp the rights reasonably needed to host, process, display, review, and secure that content for the service you requested. Authorized administrators must have permission to upload source material and remain responsible for classification, review, and publication decisions.

Feedback may be used to improve DDStepUp without an obligation to compensate you, provided we do not publicly identify you without permission.

07

Third-party services

DDStepUp relies on third-party services for authentication, database infrastructure, hosting, email delivery, and limited Admin content production. Their availability and separate terms may affect parts of the service. Choosing a social sign-in method also creates a direct relationship between you and that provider.

DDStepUp is not responsible for third-party websites reached through external links. Review their terms and privacy practices before using them.

08

Changes, availability, and suspension

We may improve, add, remove, limit, or suspend features to maintain security, comply with law, manage content availability, or develop the product. The service may occasionally be interrupted or contain errors.

We may restrict or terminate access when we reasonably believe an account violates these terms, threatens the service or others, creates legal risk, or uses content without authorization. Where practical, we will consider the context and provide notice or a recovery path.

09

Educational limits and disclaimers

DDStepUp is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, a particular diagnostic result, question coverage, exam performance, admission, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Explanations and recommendations are educational material, not legal, financial, medical, or admissions advice. You remain responsible for study decisions, exam registration, deadlines, and compliance with test-center rules.

10

Responsibility and liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, DDStepUp is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of opportunity, loss of data, or reliance on an educational estimate arising from use of the service.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded. Because legal rules vary by location, some limitations may not apply to you.

11

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service or applicable requirements change. We will revise the effective date and provide additional notice when a material change requires it. Continued use after the revised terms take effect means you accept them, unless applicable law requires another form of consent.
